Security

• The whole backup is encrypted in a way that nobody may decrypt it, neither Geminisoft
• To increase security file names are also enrcypted
• The system uses a key pair for encryption and a key pair for digital signature, both 2048 bit long using a RSA algorithm
• Session keys used to encrypt data are 128 bit long and use a RC4 algorithm

Mobility

• Very small size, less than 500KB
• May work directly on floppy disk and pendrive
• Does not require installation
• May be easily moved just copying the folder
• Temporary files saved to program folder

Virus protection

• The program checks itself at each start and in case of alterations it does not run

Backup

• The backup may be run without user interaction using the Windows Scheduled Tasks
