Geminisoft Pimmy lets you manage your electronic mail, newsgroups and RSS channels easily and everywhere you are. The full program may be run from a floppy disk or a pen drive and does not need installation.

Using Pimmy you can:

• manage an unlimited number of POP3 and IMAP4 mailboxes ;
• read and write messages on newsgroups with advanced features to retrieve threads and change provider;
• keep yourself informed with RSS and ATOM channels;
• easily find new messages to read either online or offline;
• quickly manage folders with thousands of messages using the new cache ;
• group mail and newsgroup messages on discussion threads and show them in a useful tree view;
• import messages and contacts from Outlook Express, Thunderbird and other mail programs;
• manage charset at best and communicate with all the world; 
• adapt Pimmy at your accessibility needs;
• download messages from all all server automatically and contemporaneously ;
• use filters to decide what messages you want to download, when and where;
• read online only the messages you are interested in, unless download them all, and leave mail on the server until you decide to delete them;
• read online a preview of first 200 lines of a message unless download it all;
• delete a message online before reading or dowloading it, to help you against spamming and virus attacks;
• send messages using different providers easily;
• manage different senders and signatures (even with the same mailbox);
• attach files and documents;
• play MP3 and other audio and video files with the integrated mini player.

This new release has many new features in particular a better read / unread messages management, IMAP4, RSS and ATOM support, message cache management for a better online and offline support, introduces labels and colors for messages , encode/decode text with ROT13 and password, better newsgroup management, improved filters and a new wizard for creating new account.
