Sure. The program encrypts and digitally signs all the files before copying them to disc, to CD or sending them to web. Nobody, neither Geminisoft, can decrypt files without the keys, wich are uniquely created for each user and protected by passwords only known by the user. Digital signature ensures that nobody can change files. Standard algorithms are used with 2,048 bit keys.

The Web server backup service is currently in beta testing and may be freely used for 30 days. The cost of the final service will be defined in the near future.

Ugrade is totally free to owners of a license for Pimmy 4.0 or 4.1. Just download version 4.2 and install it over the same folder.

At the moment Pimmy does not support SSL connections so it can't manage GMail mailboxes direclty.
Meanwhile you can use an external program - STunnel - to create a bridge between Pimmy and GMail.
The solution is valid for Pimmy 4.1 and Pimmy 4.0.

If you are using Pimmy 3.5 with a maximum of 2 mailboxes, 5 newsgroups and 10 folders, you can install Pimmy 4 over the old one and try it for 30 days. Otherwise install Pimmy 4 in a different folder with a new configuration and try it for 30 days. We suggest you should read setup requirements and instructions.
